Or just simply because of Author's shitty story telling...The Devastation shouldnt had happen in the first place but author just had to go write off everybody else as worthless shit just to make MC look good and to save the day alone, instead of making good fight scenes of all the elders fending off well together with MC

To be fair.. mad snail does have a tendency to forget what he wrote previously in the story and make up reasons and rules as he goes 😜

Forgetfulness aside, from the very start till now, the Author had ridiculously made the MC to be like a God....A reincarnated kid that miraculously seems to know every fuk things about every secret skills, cultivation techniques, hidden treasures & weapons, in every cities & realms, godly alchemist & healer that even everybody else, including the elders & ancestors doesnt know about, despite not being able to save himself in his previous life?

Its a weapon and I am sure it only has a limited number of uses that can't be recharged, or at least not easily.

But you would not use it when your entire city, citizens & loved ones faces extinction in an all out war. Instead, you kept it so you could use it against a Shen family's summon of a beast demon, just so you could capture Shen Family for betrayal?? So saving an entire city and every citizens' lives are less important?

The Beast Tide has come to Glory City many times over the last 200 years. The most recent one where mc was involved was solved far more easily and with far less loss of life than usual. It turns out that the Feixue spirit or whatever it is called can only be used a total of 3 times. Compare that number - 3 - with the dozen or so times the city has been attacked but still survived and won in the end...then you can see that they must keep this power in reserve for when they have to deal with a Legend level threat.

Finally they showed their trump card. The Sacred Family has sign their death warrant. Now it's time for them to disappear from Glory City.
